KCNC's machined cassettes use a combination of aluminum, scandium, and titanium to form a super lightweight, yet reasonably durable product. Each of the cassettes' three blocks are machined from a single piece of material; the four largest cogs are aluminum, the middle four are scandium, and the smallest are titanium.

KCNC cassettes will experience similar wear life as a standard steel chain; about 2,000 miles with proper cleaning and lubrication. For this reason, KCNC's cassette is an excellent choice for use with race-day wheelsets, or for use with delicate aluminum freehub bodies common on lightweight rear hubs. KCNC's patented design uses deep spline contact patches, unlike most steel cassettes which can dig into the softer aluminum material.

KCNC recommend KMC's X10 chain series for the best possible performance with these cassettes.

Installation
These 10 speed Shimano/Sram compatible cassettes will require a Shimano lockring tool for installation. Please note that initial performance of the cassette will improve after approximately 100 miles of riding, once the teeth have experienced a small amount of wear.
