This is the bottom bracket that specifically fits the e*thirteen XC Single Speed crankset. It uses a 6806 bearing, standard in BB30 systems. The bearings use a 9% larger ball diameter than standard external bearing systems. This increase in size gives a 16% increase in load capacity, therefore increasing the durability of the bottom bracket. The cups are made of 7050 aluminum and are CNC machined, polished, and clear anodized. As with all of their threaded components, the torque specs are laser etched right onto the part for easy assembly. The e*thirteen External Bottom Bracket comes with five 1mm shims and a wave washer for the bearing preload setup. It also comes with three 2.5mm spacers to accommodate fitment to both 68 and 73mm English threaded BB shells.
